PS Kimotho Chairs Consultative Meeting on Irrigation Projects Progress

The Principal Secretary for Irrigation, CPA Ephantus Kimotho CBS, this morning chaired a consultative meeting with technical Heads to review the status of ongoing projects under the State Department for Irrigation.

The appraisal focused on assessing progress to ensure projects are fully and effectively implemented. Key projects under discussion included Galana Dam, Thuci Dam, Radat Dam, High Grand Falls Dam, Turkwell Dam, and the National Irrigation Sector Investment Plan (NISIP), among others.

The State Department reiterates its commitment to delivering value for money, enhancing project implementation, and ensuring that Kenyans attain food security and reduce dependence on food imports.
