PS at Bura Irrigation Scheme

Principal Secretary for Irrigation, CPA Ephantus Kimotho CBS, has arrived at the Bura Irrigation Scheme offices in Bura. He is leading a high-level debrief session with executive officers from the National Irrigation Authority, the security team, farmers, and representatives of Water Users Associations.

The meeting comes ahead of a scheduled consultative exercise for farmers and local leaders on the need for better sustainability of Bura Irrigation schemes through Operation and Maintenance (O&M) fees, following a  Presidential Directive on the matter.
